MISSION

The mission of Montessori of Macon is to “educate the whole child for a whole world.”

The Whole Child – Academic goals are important, and we provide a challenging academic program for students at Montessori of Macon. However, it isn't our only interest. We also support the emotional, physical, spiritual, and social growth of the children. Montessori of Macon provides experiences for growth as our children mature into human beings who are reaching their greatest potential and pursuing their passions.

The Whole World – Dr. Maria Montessori believed the most important goal of education is peace. It is through the process of learning to live with each other in the small communities developed in our classrooms, and learning about the larger world we are part of, that children will have the desire and skills needed to live peacefully. It may start small, but we see the potential in our children every day as they matriculate through our school.
